  • Strawberries

    2 kg sugar

     

    Clean the strawberries, wash them and put in a large bowl.
    Spread the sugar over the strawberies, stir all together, cover with a cloth and leave to stand overnight.
    Next day, cook the strawberries and juice from strawberries on the medium heat, constantly removing the foam from the top.
    When the foam disappears (approximately after 1-1,5 hours) the jam is done.
    Pour jam into hot, sterilized jars and leave to cool slowly.

  • Chicken

    ChickenFriedViennaStyle1 whole chicken breast
    1 egg
    3 tablespoons flour
    4 tablespoons bread crumbs
    salt, pepper
    frying oil

     

    Rinse chicken breast and dry with kitchen paper.
    Cut the breast into nice, long slices - schnitzels.
    Mix egg with salt, pepper and 1 tbsp of cold water.
    Optionally, add 1 tsp of dried herbs into egg mixture.
    Place flour in a shallow bowl or plate.
    In another shallow bowl or plate place breadcrumbs.
    Heat oil in a deep pan.
    One piece at the time, coat the slices of chicken breast in the flour, the eggs and the breadcrumbs.
    Fry chicken slices, in small batches, about 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
    Drain on paper towel.
