Turkey Roast1 turkey, approx. 3000 g weight
500 g flatbread (mlinci)
oil, salt


Rinse well turkey, drain it, dry and salt it inside and outside.
Leave well salted turkey in a cool place for 4 hours.
Place the turkey on a pre-greased baking pan, spread well lot of oil over the turkey abd roast in a pre-heated oven at medium heat (180 - 200 C).
Turkey has to be roasted for 2,5 - 3 hours, during which time pour the turkey with the juice released from the turkey.
Once the juice from the baking pan evaporates, add some water to prevent burning.
Take out roasted turkey from the oven, cool it and cut into slices.
Break flatbread into smaller pieces, and pour boiling water over them. Cook them for 5 minutes until they soften, then rinse and drain well.
Cooked flatbread pieces pour with turkey juice, season with salt and stir for 2-3 minutes on medium heat.
Serve the turkey slices with flatbread on the side.
