Pepper Cake

150 g raisins
200 g sugar
100 ml water
2 eggs
120 g butter
1/2 cup sour cream
100 g sugar
300 g flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
nutmeg to taste
1 tsp black pepper


Mix 200 g sugar with 100 ml water and bring to boil, then let it chill.

Mix butter with eggs, sour cream, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, black pepper, then add flour and baking powder.

Stir in cold sugar syrup.

Dough shoud be soft.

Bake sbout 45 minutes at moderate temeprature (180C or 350F).
